How to apply
To apply for registration online you will need:
- Acrobat Adobe Reader version 8.1 or above - this can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website
- access to a printer
- the Care Inspectorate registration number for the service you work in if you are applying for registration on one of the parts of the Register for social service workers. The Care Service list and can be found on the Care Inspectorate website.
Once you have completed the online application form, you must print the form so that you can sign it and your endorser/s can endorse it before sending it to us.
We are aware of an issue with the on-line form that prevents the year '2012' being entered into the date fields. You can still use this form by entering 2011 instead of 2012 when you are completing the form on-line and then correcting this by hand when the application is printed out. We are working to correct this issue and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
